Guard Your Heart (Macmillan, 2021) is Sue’s first novel. Its route to publication included shortlisting in the Caledonia Novel Award and Winning the Irish Novel Fair 2019. In 2022 it was shortlisted for the Carnegie Award and won the Great Reads Award (Ireland).
